Why does Trent have to stop touring??
I hope he comes back; I don't believe for a moment he is really going to stop. It's just too much of who he is. An 'extended break' is more like it. He's an amazing artist and he deserves to be happy; I hope he enjoys his time off.
I spent the whole time deciding whether or not I liked them, but honestly I have been thinking about them ever since, so they definitely made a big impression on me. Mew was enchanting, artistic, progressive; completely unique. I thought their show was very beautiful, and the lead singer is just...well, enchanting is the only word for it. It is the first time I ever heard about them or saw them.
It was a once in a lifetime event to be able to see Finger Eleven at the Aragon. I love the Aragon Ballroom because you are always so close to the stage; this was definitely a great way to say goodbye to his fans. I could see Trent's facial expressions, and I could even see the computer of their synthesizer.
I asked some kid behind me who that was, and he was like 'David Bowie' I was like uh....no...lol just because he's English and a little light in the loafers doesn't mean he's David Bowie... Everything was organized really well. I thought Mew was interesting; at the very least, they put on a good show with all of the lights and film bits and whatnot. Not really my kind of music, but I could see what they were trying to do, and I appreciate them presenting such masterfully crafted songs.
